Get hand dirty, by annotating existing or new content
Explore the limits of this specific technology and compare with alternative solutions
Learning outcomes:
Ability to select the appropriate ontologies per field
Ability to annotate medical education content with the right tools
Background:
Participants should be able to understand how a simple scenario-based learning plot works
Scenario:
The attendees will be given an introduction on the issues around searching and indexing content. Then, they will try to author some content (new or existing) and annotate it, using the Bioportal API. The attendees will evaluate and discuss the usefulness of the semantic approach in the process of content authoring.
