CAMEI Summer School

The CAMEI summer school aims to train the trainers and the healthcare workforce on new and open technologies enhancing the provision of IT skills to healthcare workforce, by means of sharing, reuse, repurposing and creation of (open) educational material applied in different contexts. The summer school encourages participants to better appreciate the critical role of Open Education and technologies in providing opportunities for health education and the potential of these opportunities for both learners and educators. The summer school will provide a stimulating atmosphere enforced by interactive sessions co-ordinated by well-known experts and an enthusiastic international technical team that will guide participants during the hands-on sessions, so that they maximise their technical skills and competencies, increase their knowledge base,  receive expert advice and collaborate and share with others contemporary medical education resources/material by means of open educational repositories.
Education policy makers and entrepreneurs will find really interesting sessions in the summer school since current needs of healthcare workforce on IT competences and skills will also be exploited. Learning technologists will have the opportunity to further explore the open education arena through joined sessions with the Foster school organised from the Open Knowledge Foundation Greece.

The programme will include some short theoretical, but mostly practical sessions on the field of Technology Enhanced Learning in Medical/Health Education, which are of direct practical and methodological importance for state-of-the-art health sciences teaching and education research.
We feel confident that you will enjoy the CAMEI Summer School! We will do our best to make it a memorable and extremely useful event for you!
